Herb Ellis - Four Classic Albums 
This two CD set features four classic Herb Ellis albums including original LP liner notes the recordings have been re-mastered. Herb Ellis, Roy Eldridge, Stan Getz, Ray Brown, Stan Levey and more are featured on ”Nothing But The Blues”. Also incuded is “Herb Ellis Meets Jimmy Guiffre” After leavingt Oscar Peterson’s trio, Herb once again teamed up with old college buddy Jimmy Giuffre. On “Ellis In Wonderland” Herb is joined by Oscar Peterson and bassist Ray Brown. Some more unusual names turn up with Herb for the 1960 date “Thank You Charlie Christian” where Herb takes on all the composing duties himself. This album features an unusual instrument for the jazz fan, the cello played by Harry Babasin. All four albums have been digitally re-mastered for probably the finest ever sound quality!
